Portals

Portals is a new series of hand-cut collage works exploring portals as spaces of transition, thresholds between one place and another.

Drawing together fragments from different worlds, scales and spaces, the works create imagined openings into somewhere else. I have been thinking about the moment where one thing ends and another begins, and how collage itself can become a way of moving between the familiar and the unknown.
