Sliced

In this series of hand-cut analogue collages, tension, juxtaposition, and continuity are explored through layered form and intuitive composition. Each piece considers how opposites can coexist, including stillness and movement, abstraction and suggestion, fragmentation and flow.

Drawing on found imagery and carefully assembled elements, the works unfold through subtle shifts in rhythm and balance. Forms are sliced, rearranged, and held in quiet dialogue, creating spaces where contrast becomes connection. There is a gentle negotiation between structure and spontaneity, intention and instinct.

The process of cutting and reassembling becomes a way of thinking through making, of testing relationships, disrupting patterns, and discovering unexpected harmony. At their heart, these collages reflect a search for cohesion within complexity, and for the quiet poetry that emerges when disparate parts begin to speak to one another.
